"On March 1st, in honor of Gratitude Day, a memorable event was held at the Faculty of Agrobiology of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, organized under the leadership of doctoral students. In honor of the birthday of Abai Kunanbaiuly, a special spiritual and cultural event was held at the Faculty of Agrobiology. This evening, dedicated to the works of the great poet, students revived his legacy and showcased their diverse talents. During the event, Abai's heartfelt melodies were performed, and his meaningful poems were recited with emotion. Our students, dedicating sincere tributes to the great poet, impressed the audience. Additionally, the stage was graced with traditional Kazakh dances, capturing the spirit of Kazakh art from Abai's era.

Such events play a significant role in passing on the spiritual legacy and creativity of the great poet to future generations, promoting his profound thoughts and wisdom. Abai's heritage is the treasure of our nation, and it is our duty to preserve and promote it!

«Sogady zhurek»

In celebration of the great Kazakh poet Mukhtar Makatayev's birthday, a special event was organized in the student dormitory. The aim of the event was to honor the poet's spiritual legacy and revive his timeless works. Students recited excerpts from his immortal poems, discussed their profound meanings, and highlighted Makatayev's invaluable contribution to Kazakh literature.

During the event, students performed songs based on Makatayev's poetry and participated in a poetry recitation contest. The warm and friendly atmosphere in the dormitory fostered a deeper understanding of the poet's work and a sense of spiritual unity. Each participant drew inspiration from his poetry, feeling the enduring relevance of his verses.

This event gave the youth an opportunity to become more acquainted with Makatayev's poetry and embrace his life philosophy.

On 02/06/2025, the lecturer of the Department of Fruit and Vegetable Growing, Plant Protection and Quarantine, together with the curatorial group, held a literary musical evening dedicated to the birthday of the outstanding poet of his time Mukagali Makatayev. A wonderful evening, which began with a story about the poet's life, continued with an expressive reading by students of poems written by the poet. In the line of the poet's popular poem "Akkular uiyktaganda", reflecting on his reader, the students presented a small scene. During the evening, an interesting question-and-answer game was played, and the audience who answered correctly were given gifts. Mukagali Makatayev's works occupy a place in the heart of every Kazakh, and such themes in his poems as patriotism and love of life do not lose their relevance over time. The participants of the evening immersed themselves in the spiritual world of the great poet, drew inspiration from his poems. This is an important cultural event organized in order to pass on the Mukagali heritage to the younger generation and glorify it.

"Zhyrlaidy zhurek"

A literary and poetic party "Zhyrlaidy zhurek" was held, dedicated to the work of the poet Mukagali Makatayev. If you look at our poetry evening, where a melodious song was played, spilled with strange verses, then you can see that the poetry he wrote during his lifetime will forever remain a legacy to future generations.

The Decade of Mental Health

On February 4, 2025, as part of the Mental Health 2025 decade, students of the AG-24-01k group met with a group of Progress psychologists, and a motivational seminar was held on the topics "using digital tools to preserve mental health" and "Ways to prevent suicide" under the guidance of psychologist KazNUI L. Beisembayeva. After a short presentation on ways to improve mental health, a competitive game was held, in which Absheken Abdykappar became the winner and received prizes from the organizers of the event. Next, the students were given the task of drawing a map of 10 cities to depict their inner feelings. Each student depicted his inner state with beautiful pictures, gave the names of each city and explained why he named it that way. The meeting ended with a photo session, thanks and pleasant wishes.

Meeting with psychological specialists

On January 28, 2025, together with students of the specialty "Agronomy" under the guidance of Ms. Beisembayeva Layla Agybaevna, a psychologist at the university, KazNPU interns conducted the training "SOZDEN-SEZIMGE". During the training, a wonderful event was held with students on the topics of identifying students' personal characteristics, training exercises aimed at developing various stress tolerance, collective harmony and intra-group/intergroup relations, music therapy, preventing professional and emotional exhaustion, and preventing antisocial phenomena among young people. The student trainees approached this event with great preparation and were able to conduct practical exercises to develop the skills of psychological play and social adaptation, contributing to the disclosure of the personal aspects of each student, at a high level, with the involvement of students. The participants of the training got acquainted with the basics of psychological assistance and received comprehensive answers to their questions, as well as showed activity in games.

On 30.01.25, in the assembly hall of the main building of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University and the electronic exchange enbek "Center for Labor Mobility" in Almaty, an information and explanatory meeting was organized with functionality for conducting students' industrial practice and online courses "Skills Enbek". The event was attended by Bakytgul Yessimova, Head of the Department of Practice and Employment at KazNARU, faculty and students.

 In her speech, Gulzira Kazybayeva, head of the department of the Labor Mobility Center, noted that a new career compass platform has been launched since 2019.

The speaker also noted that professionalism is highly valued in life and this directly affects the level of wages and career opportunities. Noting that the center regularly conducts state support measures for youth employment, students are offered to participate in the labor exchange (enbek.kz ) the possibility of professional practice. « The Career Compass» project will help identify sought-after specialties and assess the prospects of university graduates' chosen specialties, complete internships and find a job.

The meeting was held in the format of a free and mutual exchange of views. Students, actively participating in the meetings, asked their questions and received specific answers.

On December 25, the dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology, Yerzhan Sovetbekovich Abildaev, congratulated the students on the New Year and presented awards and a letter of gratitude to parents and school directors to students who were active throughout the year from the rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.

A festive evening "Tauelsizdik tugyrym" dedicated to Independence Day was held. In connection with the celebration of Independence Day, a line of congratulatory words was handed over to the dean of our faculty, Abildaev Sovan Sovetbekovich, the event continued with the melodious song , students read poems related to independence. At the end of the festive evening, the teachers of our faculty, who participated in the December uprising, told us with what difficulty and feat the peaceful day in which we now live came.

On November 29, 2024, employees of the medical institution "Almaty Clinic" Khalipa Khayrollaevna and Sandugash Maksutovna came and gave a lecture to first-year students studying ecology on the occasion of World AIDS Day on December 1. During the lecture, which was given by a medical worker, information was given on the causes of diseases (AIDS, HIV) and ways to protect against them, and the event ended with a showing of an educational video.

27.11.2024 Professor of the Department of Soil Science, Agrochemistry and Ecology of the Agrobiological Faculty, curator of the Ek-23-05 group, Ek-23-06 - Mahamedova Baglan Zhakypbaevna held an educational hour with students dedicated to December 1 – International AIDS Day.

At the educational hour with the participation of the deputy dean for educational work Abdukhaimova Shyrinkul Nartaevna and teachers of the department, students of groups Ek-23-05, Ek-23-06 were given meaningful information and classes were fixed through a special video. Students actively answered questions and expressed their opinions.

Through the proverb of our nation, which for centuries has been sorted, weighed, become mature, wise, well-mannered, fair criticism, an honest smart guy, not only a conscientious healer, but also a skillful healer, young people were shown: "Look for a path that will not cause pain until you seek treatment", "sorrow grows old, joy it breaks out."

On November 13, at the Faculty of Agrobiology, students and curators of the 4th year of the specialty Ecology jointly held a round table "my profession is my future"

Choosing a profession is one of the most difficult and important decisions in life. Choosing a profession is the first of many ladders that will lead you to a great life. A well-chosen profession is the key to your happy life in the future.Choosing a profession is not only choosing the job you want to do, but also choosing the environment in which you want to participate.

During the round table, the invited guests shared their work experience, and the students received answers to their questions, and made sure that the profession they are studying is a sought-after profession. On 27.09.2024, the curators and students of the Department of Soil Science, Agrochemistry and Ecology held a festive event "Teachers are great personalities" dedicated to the Day of Higher Education Workers on October 1. The students showed their skills, sang songs, danced, and during the event an exciting quiz was played, the winners were awarded small prizes. In addition, the teachers who came to the event expressed their gratitude and congratulated all the teachers on Teacher's Day.

25.09.2024 at the Department of Soil Science, Agrochemistry and Ecology of the Agrobiological Faculty, an educational event "My exemplary man" was held, organized by the curators of the groups: Zhamangaraeva A. N., Salykova A. S. The event was attended by well-known scientists of the department in the Republic: academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PhD, Professor Kaldybaev S., Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PhD, Professor Balgabaev Alimbai Madibekovich, senior lecturer of the Department of General Education Disciplines Nurmakhanova Zhanar Medeusinovna, who told students about the direction of the chosen specialty dal. He also shared his achievements on the path of science.

Education

The Faculty of Agrobiology is one of the key structural divisions of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, making a significant contribution to the advancement of agricultural sciences. Student activity

Today, the faculty gives students the opportunity to realize themselves, to reveal their potential, opportunities and abilities to influence the state of affairs in the faculty. Student government is an integral part of the entire university-wide management system and implements the most important functions of organizing student life. The dean's office provides maximum support to the activities of the student council. The student government bodies are the Student Government Council, public organizations, clubs, and the student trade union committee. The heads of the sectors of the Student Government Council, elected at the first meeting, oversee important areas of the Council's work. They closely interact with the deputy deans, advisers supervising the relevant areas and heads of departments, organize events, help solve students' problems that arise in the educational process.

Students have the opportunity to actively participate in the social life of the faculty through various student organizations and associations, such as: MK "Zhas Otan", youth labor camp "Zhasyl El", "Student construction squad", student Assembly "Dostyk", movement "Shapagat", club "Ayaly alakan", dance group "Altyn dan", patriotic club "Aibyn", club "Volunteers of KazNAIU", student squad of police assistants.
