The international Office of the University coordinates the following activities:

Organization of work on international relations with countries of the near and far abroad (visa support, registration of temporary stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Kazakhstan, protocols, programs), as well as training of foreign students.
invitation and admission of foreign students, scientists and teachers to the University, coordination of their work/study and stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan
registration of entry and exit documents of foreign citizens according to the existing requirements and rules of the Republic of Kazakhstan (passports, visas, etc.)
organization and provision of official receptions of international delegations together with faculties;
organizational support for the stay of foreign students at the University.
explanation to foreign citizens of the current legislation in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Legal status of foreigners, the internal regulations of the University;
organization of receptions of foreign delegations and conducting business meetings, negotiations and protocol events of the University administration.

After crossing the state border, foreign citizens within 3 calendar days from the moment of entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (including weekends and holidays) under the visa-free regime, and students of KazNAIU with a issued study visa must arrive in International office for subsequent notification to the district migration service authorities of Almaty about their arrival. Upon returning to Almaty after the winter and summer holidays, the student must undergo the staging procedure again on migration registration.

Foreign citizens are prohibited from entering the Republic of Kazakhstan before the start of a study (work) visa. When entering on another visa (tourist, private, etc.), foreign citizens must leave before the date of issuance of a study (work) visa and arrive on the day of its commencement or later.

Every foreign citizen must reside at the registration address. The discrepancy between the address of residence and the address indicated during registration is a violation of migration legislation.

When changing the place of residence, before moving to a new address, a foreign citizen must submit the following documents to the international office:

- passports and visas and their copies;

- notarized consent of the apartment owner or a certificate from the university dormitory (at the place of temporary residence).

Students should inform the staff of the International Office in a timely manner about all changes concerning contact information, status changes (obtaining a temporary residence permit, residence permit, citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

Foreign students are not entitled to work in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses, the untimely application of a foreign citizen for migration registration is an administrative offense and is subject to a fine, up to the extreme measure of deportation from countries.

In case of loss of documents, we ask you to inform the staff of the International Office immediately.

This instruction is developed on the basis of the Rules of entry and stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK), as well as their departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 28.01.2000 No. 136.

Foreign citizens are admitted to KazNAIU on the basis of Standard Rules for Admission of Foreign Citizens to universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2018 No. 600 On Approval of Standard Rules for Admission to educational organizations implementing educational programs of higher and postgraduate Education, Chapter 2, paragraph 7).

Admission of foreign citizens to the University is carried out for all forms of study, both on a budget and on a contractual basis.

Admission of foreign citizens to study on a paid basis is carried out according to the results of an interview;(educational documents issued by foreign educational organizations are recognized or nostrified in accordance with the procedure established by law).

According to the Standard Rules of Admission to Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Rules of Transfer and restoration of students when applying for training and when transferring or restoring a student from a foreign educational organization, documents on completion of the previous level of education issued by foreign educational organizations must undergo the nostrification procedure in the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the established procedure.

Nostrification of educational documents is a procedure that is carried out in order to determine the equivalence of documents issued to persons who have received education in other states in international or foreign educational institutions (their branches) in cases where there is no international agreement on the recognition of educational documents with this state.

The training of foreign citizens is conducted in Kazakh, Russian or English.

For admission , the applicant must:

Pass an oral interview.
Provide the original documents to the admissions committee. Applications and documents for admission are accepted from June 1 to August 25, 2023.

Notarized (notary of the Republic of Kazakhstan) certified copy of the passport with translation into Kazakh or Russian.
The original of the certificate / diploma of graduation from a secondary school / college / university, an appendix to the certificate / diploma (transcript) of education indicating the disciplines passed, grades, etc.
- Bachelor's degree - Certificate of full secondary education.
- Master's degree - Bachelor's degree.
- PhD Doctorate - Master's degree.
Notarized and apostilled translation of the certificate / diploma of graduation from a secondary school / college, university, appendix to the certificate / diploma.
Medical certificates of the absence of infectious diseases: certificate of the absence of HIV infection, FG, malaria, BAC sowing for ya/g.
Medical certificate form 075-U. Certificates are issued upon arrival in Kazakhstan, after passing the appropriate medical commission. It is necessary to provide a fluorography snapshot to the admissions committee;
6 photos 3×4 pieces;
The protocol of the completed interview.
Conclusion of a contract for the provision of educational services (2 copies)
Payment of a deposit in the amount of 30-50% of the total amount of tuition to the university account.
Payment of the visa fee (International Office, office 36, Abaya, 8).

Admission of international students to higher education institutions on a fee basis is carried out from June 01 to August 20.
