The Department of Soil Science, Agrochemistry and Ecology in 2022 was organized by combining the departments of Soil Science and Agrochemistry and Ecology. These departments were established at the university at different times and represented various areas and its practical application of agriculture and fundamental natural sciences.
Educational, scientific and educational activities are carried out by a highly professional teaching staff in the field of soil science, agrochemistry and ecology, which is represented by 24 teachers, including 2 doctors of sciences, 6 candidates of Sciences, 12 PhD doctors, 3 masters.
The department has a rich history and accumulated experience, which serve as the basis for the training of highly qualified specialists. He continues to play a key role in training personnel capable of applying the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of soil science, agrochemistry and ecology in professional activities in order to solve the most important national economic tasks. These include monitoring soil fertility, developing techniques for restoring soil fertility, managing crop productivity, assessing the environmental impact on ecosystems, obtaining environmentally friendly products, and preventing possible negative impacts on ecosystems.
