The "Best Bakery Production Project"
The "Best Bakery Production Project" intellectual competition took place on December 6th among the 4th-year students of the TPRP 21-11K group at Kazakh National Agrarian University, within the course "Designing Bakery, Confectionery, and Pasta Enterprises". The main goal of the "Best Bakery Production Project" intellectual competition was to improve the quality of products, enhance production efficiency, and use environmentally friendly methods by introducing innovative solutions and technologies into bakery production.
The competition consisted of several exciting rounds: teams presented their projects and developments through presentations, engaging videos, and report indicators. A question-and-answer session was held based on the researched topics. The marketing round focused on ways to increase the efficiency of producers through analysis of market demand and competitiveness, and how to properly present the product to the market through the video clips and marketing strategies created by the teams. A model of a bakery plant, created for the bakery production project, along with a presentation showing the product's advantages, how to stand out in the market, and increase sales volume, was presented based on various criteria. These models serve as an effective tool to introduce the project to potential investors and consumers, clarifying the strategic and market direction of the project.
Between the competition stages, quizzes were held for the audience, where they had the opportunity to award points to their favorite team for active participation and correct answers.
In the final round, the captain's competition, a logical task was given to each team captain to reveal leadership qualities, providing an opportunity to uncover the potential of future leaders. Students, taking into account quality standards, proposed the best bakery production projects, showcasing their knowledge, analytical skills, and creative thinking.
The future of bakery production is not only linked to new technologies and innovative solutions, but also to products that can meet market demands and consumer needs. Producing high-quality, environmentally friendly, and healthy bread, as well as increasing competitiveness through effective marketing strategies, should be the primary goal of every bakery company. Taking these requirements into account, students demonstrated through this intellectual competition that bakery production can be taken to a new level by developing technologies and offering new products that meet the changing needs of consumers.
