XXIII INTERFACULTY SPARTAKIAD: RESULTS OF THE MEN’S VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
Since February 2, 2026, the traditional XXIII Interfaculty Spartakiad has been taking place at the university’s sports complex. This large-scale sporting event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among students, develop mass sports, and strengthen friendly relations between faculties.
The Spartakiad is organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports. Each faculty is represented by a team consisting of 1st–5th year undergraduate students and 1st–2nd year master’s students who have passed medical examinations and possess appropriate sports training. All participants compete in standardized numbered sports uniforms.
🏐 Men’s Volleyball Results (February 9–13)
From February 9 to 13, exciting and competitive men’s volleyball matches were held as part of the Spartakiad. The teams demonstrated a high level of preparation, strong teamwork, and determination to win.
The final standings are as follows:
🥇 1st place – Faculty of Engineering and Technology
🥈 2nd place – Higher School of Business and Law
🥉 3rd place – Faculty of Forestry and Land Resources
4️⃣ 4th place – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering
5️⃣ 5th place – Faculty of Water Resources and IT Technologies
6️⃣ 6th place – Faculty of Agrobiology
The matches were held at a high organizational level with active support from fans.
Earlier, from February 3 to 7, women’s volleyball competitions were conducted in a round-robin format among six faculty teams. The growing number of spectators each year clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of the university’s systematic efforts to promote sports among young people.
The Interfaculty Spartakiad not only enhances students’ athletic skills but also strengthens their team spirit and commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle.
