XXIII SPORTS CONTEST BETWEEN FACULTIES STARTED at KazNARU

The traditional XXIII inter-faculty sports contest on the formation of a healthy lifestyle among students, the development of mass sports and the strengthening of friendly relations between faculties has started at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.

This sporting event has been taking place since February 2, 2026 at the university's sports complex. With a long history, this Spartakiad is considered one of the most important events in the sporting life of KazNARU.

The main goal of the competition is to widely involve students in physical education and sports, create favorable conditions for their systematic exercise, as well as strengthen cooperation and friendly ties between faculties.

The Spartakiad is held by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports. The competition was attended by one national sports team from each faculty, students of 1-5 courses and undergraduates of 1-2 courses who have passed a medical examination and have appropriate sports training. All participants perform in a single numbered sports uniform.

Girls' volleyball competitions were held as part of the Spartakiad on February 3-7. The teams of the six faculties competed against each other in a round-robin system. The games were held at a high level, and the active support of the fans was particularly noted. The increase in the number of spectators every year clearly proves the effectiveness of sports competitions systematically held at the university to introduce young people to mass sports.

The final results of the women 's volleyball teams are as follows:

1st place – Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Engineering

II place – Faculty of Forestry and Land Resources

III place – Higher School of Business and Law;
