“Health – 2026” Spartakiad Launched at KazNARU

✅ On January 5, 2026, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University officially launched the large-scale “Health – 2026” Spartakiad, which will take place from January 5 to 15 among the university’s faculty members and staff.

✅ Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Meruert Tuyakbayeva, noted that the winter vacation period of students was used effectively, providing faculty members and employees with an opportunity to compete in 9 sports disciplines while also improving their physical health.

✅ Within the framework of the Spartakiad, 9 competitions will be held across 5 sports. These include volleyball, basketball, futsal, chess, arm wrestling, and tug of war.

✅ The main goals of the event are to promote mass sports within the university community, strengthen health, enhance team spirit and cooperation, and encourage an active lifestyle.

✅ “Our university has a modern sports complex, a fully equipped gym, an outdoor football field, one indoor mini-football field, and a Central Stadium with a running track. These facilities directly contribute to the comprehensive development of students and allow faculty members to engage in sports during their free time. We are deeply grateful to the university administration for creating such favorable conditions and providing strong support,” said Meruert Tuyakbayeva.
