Educational Event Held on the Prevention of Bullying and Cyberbullying
On November 17, 2025, the curators of groups II25-13k, IS25-02k(T), and IS25-03k(T), Shugyla Berdimurat and Akerke Abieva, organized an educational event titled “Prevention of Bullying and Cyberbullying.”
At the beginning of the event, students participated in a practical activity: they wrote down hurtful words on pieces of paper and then crumpled them. When they attempted to smooth the paper back to its original state, they saw that it could not fully return to its previous form. This visual exercise demonstrated the lasting impact of words and emphasized that careless statements can leave deep emotional marks.
During the session, students were informed about the concepts of bullying and cyberbullying, their types, signs, and harmful effects. Participants also shared their thoughts, highlighting the importance of respect, responsibility, and mindful communication.
In conclusion, the students agreed that standing against all forms of bullying, creating a safe online environment, and supporting one another is a shared responsibility.
The university will continue its efforts to build a safe, supportive, and friendly atmosphere for all.
