Bullying and Cyberbullying: Prevention Measures

Training "Bullying and Cyberbullying: Prevention Measures" – Knowledge as Protection!

This week, 1st-year veterinary students from groups Vet-24-10 and Vet-24-12 participated in an engaging and essential training on "Bullying and Cyberbullying: Prevention Measures." But this wasn’t just a lecture—it was an interactive, real-world experience!

The training was conducted by top professionals:
Nurzhankyzy Saya, a psychologist from the Psychological Support Service of KazNAIU
Members of the "Progress" group of practicing psychologists from Abai KazNPU – Mynbay Alisher and Amirkul Asel

What made this training unique?
Students performed their own short skits depicting real-life bullying and cyberbullying situations. This helped them deeply understand the problem, see its consequences, and find ways to resolve it.
Heated discussions and reflections allowed participants to share their thoughts and reconsider their perspectives on bullying.
Group Vet-24-17 created and edited a video highlighting the issue of bullying in an educational setting. This creative approach gave students a fresh perspective on the seriousness of the problem.
Together with psychologists, students explored effective ways to combat bullying, learned how to respond to aggression, and discovered how to support each other.

The main takeaway? Bullying isn’t just "harmless jokes." It’s a serious issue that must be addressed! And now, our students know how to stand against it.

A huge thank you to the organizers and all the students who participated with such enthusiasm!
