KazNARU HELD AN ONLINE MEETING WITH SCHOOL GRADUATES OF KOSTANAY REGION
On March 11, 2026, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University held an online and offline career guidance meeting titled “Choosing the Right Profession – A Path to a Successful Future.” The event was initiated by the First Deputy Chairman of the Board – Rector, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Primkul Ibragimov.
A total of 5,134 school graduates from 432 schools of Kostanay Region joined the meeting online. The event was also attended by heads of city and district education departments, school principals, class teachers, career guidance counselors, members of the KazNARU Board, faculty deans, professors and teaching staff, as well as students.
The event was organized with the support of Aiman Ibraeva, Head of the Education Department of Kostanay Region.
The meeting was organized and moderated by Ainur Kaiyrbayeva, Director of the Admissions Committee, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor, who provided applicants with detailed information about the Unified National Testing (UNT), admission requirements, educational programs, and study opportunities.
In addition, faculty deans and heads of departments presented KazNARU’s educational programs, international partnerships, academic mobility opportunities, and double degree programs.
The Head of the Military Department, reserve colonel, PhD Erkin Adilbekov, provided detailed information about the admission requirements and procedures for the military department. He noted that several innovations have been introduced in the document submission process this year. Applicants will now be able to submit their documents online through their personal accounts on the eGov portal, which will allow students to save time and complete the process conveniently and quickly.
The coordinator of the Artificial Intelligence educational program, Farabi Yermekov, highlighted the rapid development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the modern world and spoke about the university’s innovative opportunities in this field, as well as its education system based on international experience.
According to him, students enrolled in this program have broad opportunities for international education. In particular, they may continue their studies in the People’s Republic of China. Prior knowledge of Chinese is not required: during the first 1–2 years students study at the university and attend free Chinese language courses, and in their 3rd–4th year they may continue their studies in China.
Participants were also informed about the university’s cooperation with leading agrarian research universities worldwide in the fields of science and education.
During the event, faculty deans and students from Kostanay Region currently studying at the university shared their experiences and spoke about educational opportunities and student life, inviting graduates to pursue their studies at KazNARU.
At the end of the meeting, school graduates and their parents received detailed answers to their questions.
It was emphasized that the KazNARU Admissions Committee is ready to provide continuous and systematic consultation to applicants and their parents.
