ONLINE TRAINING AT THE WORLD'S BEST UNIVERSITIES THROUGH THE EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM «COURSERA»
KazNARU received licenses for 400 users from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan to access the educational content of the Coursera platform. The university integrates the received user licenses into educational programs.

The international platform «COURSERA» was introduced into Kazakhstani universities by order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, K.K. Tokayev. The «BMG UpSkill» is the exclusive partner of the Coursera educational platform in Kazakhstan. It has translated 201 courses into Kazakh and Russian languages.
In addition, the «BMG UpSkill» has equipped the COURSERA computer class in many locations.
This platform has access to more than 11,000 localized training courses covering a wide range of different knowledge, skills and disciplines.
Coursera combines training from more than 300 leading universities in the world (Stanford, Duke, Yale, Columbia University) and technology giants (Meta, Google, Intel).
Currently, the Coursera educational platform unites more than 124 million students from all over the world, has more than 185 partners from among the most powerful universities in the world, such as Stanford University, Yale University, as well as more than 115 well-known global technology and industrial companies, such as Google, IBM, Microsoft, etc.
Currently, students and faculty actively use the Coursera platform, where 85,075 videos have been watched, 67,823 materials have been used for independent study, 61,749 assignments have been completed, over the past 90 days, the university has had 5,501 course entries, and 7,273 hours have been studied. For the 2023-2024 academic year, 34 disciplines have been integrated on the international platform across three levels of education.
The most popular areas of study include IT technologies, business courses, language learning, personal and cultural development, art, and social sciences. Among the IT courses, Python, programming basics, Adobe Photoshop, HTML and CCS basics, Android, and Big Data are of great interest.
When learning English, users prefer teaching methods, improving their conversational and business language skills, and grammar.
