is 70 years old!
Ospanov Abdymanap Abubakirovich was born on April 4, 1954 in the village of Makhtaly, Kirovsky district, South Kazakhstan region. In 1971, he graduated from Kanysh Satpayev Secondary School, located in his native village, with a gold medal.
After graduating with honors from the Kazakh Order of the Red Banner of Labor of the Agricultural Institute in 1976, he worked for more than 20 years in the higher education system and 25 years in the system of sectoral science and technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including 17 years in senior positions; for the last 14 years he has been working at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
In 1982 (Kazakh Agricultural Institute, Alma-Ata) defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.20.01 – "Mechanization of agricultural production". In 1992 (Moscow Technological Institute of Food Production, Moscow, Russia) defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.18.12 – "Processes and devices of food production". In 1991, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor, and in 1997 – the academic title of professor. Since 2006, he has been a full member of the Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences.
Professor Ospanov A.A. created a scientific school in the field of "technology and technology of processing industries". Being the scientific supervisor of dissertation research of graduate students, undergraduates and applicants, he has prepared 1 Doctor of Technical Sciences, 7 candidates of technical sciences and more than 30 masters of technical sciences. He is currently the supervisor of 3 PhD students.
Professor Ospanov A.A. is a permanent grant holder, project manager for grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2012-2014, he was the head of two research projects on grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2012-2014 (the total amount of financing is 64 million tenge). The results of these projects allowed him to allocate more than 30 million tenge for the creation of an International Research Center for Food and Processing Technology in KazNAU, consisting of three research laboratories: 1) technology and quality of grain and grain products; 2) technology of baking bread and bakery products; 3) extrusion technology of food products. The center, which was opened on April 4, 2014, is designed to conduct new scientific research and training for undergraduates and PhD doctoral students in the specialties "Technology of processing industries", "Technological machines and equipment" and "Standardization and certification (by industry)".
Under the guidance of Professor Ospanov A.A., in 2015-2017, a scientific project on grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic "Development of technology for the production of extruded poly-cereal high-readiness food products with fruit and berry and meat and dairy fillings" was completed with a total amount of funding of 15 million tenge, and in 2018-2020 - a scientific project on grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic "Development of technology for the production of pasta based on non-traditional poly-cereal raw materials" with a total volume of 42 million tenge. The results of this project are currently being prepared for commercialization.
Professor Ospanov A.A. is the author of more than 500 scientific papers, including 20 scientific articles in journals with a non-zero impact factor included in the international information resources Web of Science and Scopus, more than 60 patents for inventions, 3 certificates of state registration of intellectual property, 1 certificate of trademark registration at the National Patent Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2 textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 12 monographs (of which 1 is in English), 9 textbooks (of which 3 are in English) and over 25 analytical reviews and review information. The Hirsch index of Professor Ospanov A.A. is 7.
His scientific and industrial activities are related to the development of the fundamentals of the theory and modeling of grinding, pressing, mixing and drying processes in food and agricultural industries, in particular, in grain processing and feed industries; confectionery and bakery industries. He proposed and tested a new scientific hypothesis in the theory of crushing and crushing. The introduction of scientific developments by Ospanov A.A. allowed to increase the efficiency of technological lines of the processing and food industries, to increase labor productivity.
Ospanov A.A. is an honorary citizen of the Makhtaralsky district of the South Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2008) and the holder of the "State Scientific Scholarship for scientists and specialists who have made an outstanding scientific contribution to the development of science and technology for 2010-2012" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2020, the Board of the International Organization Global Harmonization Initiative approved Professor A.A. Ospanov as GHI Ambassador to Kazakhstan on food safety issues and awarded him an ambassador's certificate.
Ospanov A.A. has the following awards: silver medal of the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of the USSR (1987); jubilee medal "10th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan" (2001); jubilee medal "50th anniversary of the development of virgin and fallow lands of Kazakhstan" (2004); certificate of honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2015); golden jubilee medal "85th anniversary of KazNAU" (2015); Certificate of Honor of KazNAU (2017 and 2018); badges "For contribution to the development of education, science and production" (2015) and "For special services" (2015); Order "Kurmet" (2015); The best teacher university (2017); winner of the Republican Contest of Inventors "Shapagat" of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2019); "Honorary Veteran" of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2019).
