The Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Bostandyk district provides the following information about the impact of excessive noise levels on human life.

Currently, the harmful effects of noise have been studied quite well. Scientists have proved that loud sound is a general biological irritant that has a negative impact not only on the hearing organs, but also on the entire body as a whole. According to objective estimates, the impact of noise is manifested as follows.

Prolonged sound load of 65-90 dB irritates the nervous system, causing anxiety, irritation, neuroses.

In conditions of increased background noise, fatigue increases by 15-25%, concentration of attention and the effectiveness of mental activity decreases.

The most common effect of industrial noise on the human body is the narrowing of capillary vessels penetrating the skin and mucous membranes, which worsens peripheral blood circulation.

Noise with a strength of over 85 dB leads to an increase in blood pressure.

Constant exposure to noise and vibrations on a person leads to a violation of the bioelectric activity of the brain, slowing down the reaction, deterioration of EEG indicators. At the same time, biochemical analyses show a sharp increase in the levels of cortisone, adrenaline and norepinephrine – substances called "stress hormones". Elevated levels of these hormones persist even during a night's sleep. Prolonged stress can lead to deterioration of physiological parameters and even to the development of chronic diseases of the heart, blood vessels, nervous system, other organs and systems. Noise causes significant harm to human health.
