A seminar was held in KazNARU within the framework of the international project IMPROvE _AGRO ERASMUS +
On February 20-26, 2023, on the basis of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, a seminar was held in the framework of the international ERASMUS + project "Internationalizing Master Programmes in Agriculture via English Medium Instruction" (IMPROvE _AGRO) 609563-EPP-1-2019-1-DE-EPPKA2 -CBHE-JP. The seminar was devoted to the Theory and Practice in Joint Modules development: Erasmus+ project IMPROvE_AGRO.
Representatives of Freiburg Pedagogical University (Germany), Aston University (Great Britain), Mongolian University of Natural Sciences, National University of Mongolia (Mongolia), Tyumen State University (Russia), Toraigyrov University (Kazakhstan) took part in the seminar.
Improve_agro project manager, Dr. Matthias Hutz (Pedagogical University of Freiburg) initially identified all the priority areas of the project and gave specific tasks to each participant.
According to the approved schedule, the first day the participants took part in a round table on the topic: "Tools for the modernization of key modules in forestry and agriculture." During the round table, all participants shared their experience and opinion on the modernization of existing educational programs in forestry and agriculture.

Within five days, the participants of the seminar developed certain modules in the following areas:
Module 1. Sustainable forest management;
Module 2. Forest Watershed Management;
Module 3 Planning of urban forestry;
Module 4. Multipurpose Forest Inventory;
Module 5. Dendroecology;
Module 6. Technology of tree planting in multiple regions.
Based on the results of the workshop, a draft of each module was presented and further tasks for their implementation were identified.
