Today, the boundless Kazakh steppe is a common homeland for representatives of more than 130 nationalities. That is why May 1 is considered the day of unity of our people.

And this day is one of the biggest holidays for Kazakhstanis. May 1 is celebrated in almost all regions of the country. The goal is to increase mutual respect for representatives of different nationalities and religions within the country, to promote peace, unity and common values.

Every year on this holiday, representatives of more than 130 nationalities and nationalities living on the territory of Kazakhstan celebrate the fact that they live in harmony, prosperity and unity, peace and solidarity in the holy black house. In order to bring the ethnic groups of our country closer together, mass patriotic parades will be held throughout Kazakhstan.

Today, all national cultural centers united under one roof under the name "Dostyk" sing and dance at the festival and perform various scenes filled with traditions and customs on the national holiday. To raise the mood of people, various sports competitions are organized. May 1 is the main holiday of Kazakhstan for 20 years.

May 1 is the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan. In March 1995, the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan was established - a phenomenon of international peace and stability, which is an example for the whole world.

This is a unique, politically significant structure that has never been in any other country. 365 members of the assembly, more than 471 republican, regional, district, city national-cultural associations unite the leaders of about 500 members of the small assembly and ensure true friendship in our common home - Kazakhstan.
