“MY REPUBLIC — MY FUTURE!” ESSAY COMPETITION HELD AT KAZNARU

From 19 to 29 October 2026, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University held an essay competition entitled “My Republic — My Future!” to mark Republic Day. The competition, organised for university students, was conducted by the Department of Languages.

The purpose of the competition was to foster Kazakhstani patriotism, civic responsibility and respect for national values among students; to provide them with an opportunity to express their views freely on the present and future of Kazakhstan; and to develop their creative and critical thinking skills.

Participants selected one of the following topics and wrote an essay in the Kazakh language: “How Do I Envision the Future of Kazakhstan?”, “My Contribution to the Development of My Country”, “Young People as the Driving Force of Kazakhstan”, “National Values and Modern Society”, or “An Educated Generation as the Key to a Bright Future”.

The competition entries were assessed according to several criteria, including the depth with which the topic was explored, the author’s perspective and civic position, the strength of the arguments, the coherence of the text, its patriotic and educational value, creative originality, richness of language and grammatical accuracy.
