The Closing Ceremony of the “Language – the Heart of the People, the Pillar of the Nation” Week Was Held
On October 1, 2026, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University hosted the closing ceremony of the week dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, entitled “Language – the Heart of the People, the Pillar of the Nation.”
The event aimed to promote students’ interest in languages, strengthen respect for the state language, promote national values, and support multilingualism.
As part of the week, various intellectual, creative, and educational competitions were organized in Kazakh, Russian, and English. During the closing ceremony, winners and prize-winners of the competitions “Altyn Qақpa,” “Language – a Window to the World: Abai, Word and Man,” “The Complete Person – a Person of the 21st Century,” and “A Day in My University Life” were awarded.
The event was complemented by a concert program featuring university students who performed musical compositions and demonstrated their creative talents.
At the end of the ceremony, active participants of the week were acknowledged, and appreciation was expressed to all the organizers and students who contributed to the successful implementation of the events.
The “Language – the Heart of the People, the Pillar of the Nation” week provided an excellent platform for fostering students’ interest in languages and national values, as well as developing their creative abilities.
