On September 25, 2026, an interactive event titled “Language and Culture Fair” will be held at the Kazakh National Agricultural Research University in Almaty as part of the Week of Language Celebrations. Organized by the university's Department of Languages, this event will be structured differently from the traditional format and will become a modern interactive platform aimed at enhancing students' linguistic and cultural competence.
The main goal of the event is to promote language learning, showcase the culture and traditions of the world's peoples, and unlock the creative potential of young people.
The main program of the event includes:
Presentation of creative posters: Students will present posters they have created themselves. They will feature interactive displays of national symbols, unique traditions, landmarks, famous personalities, and interesting facts about countries around the world (including the United Kingdom, the USA, etc.).
Intellectual Digital Quizzes: Participants engage in a competitive intellectual contest on world languages and cultures using the Kahoot and Quizizz platforms.
This event allows students to experience the language in a cultural context, through live interaction and a game format.
