KazNARU CELEBRATES THE 35TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKMENISTAN’S INDEPENDENCE
The Kazakh National Agrarian Research University hosted a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
The event was attended by Nurymerat Rozyjumaev, Consul of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan; Gulmira Alpyssbayeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KazNARU; Assima Yeralieva, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs; deans of faculties, representatives of structural units, and students from Turkmenistan.
Opening the meeting, Gulmira Alpyssbayeva congratulated those present on the anniversary. She highlighted the friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, as well as cooperation between the two countries in the field of education. She also emphasized that students’ active participation in university life contributes to strengthening the ties between the two countries.
Nurymerat Rozyjumaev expressed his gratitude to the university administration and wished the students academic success, good health and a bright future.
On behalf of the Turkmen students, a second-year student of the Biotechnology educational programme addressed the participants, congratulated them on the occasion and expressed appreciation for the support provided to students.
During the meeting, students were introduced to the faculty leadership and informed about the university departments they can contact regarding academic matters. Information was also provided on academic requirements, class attendance regulations, registration procedures and the organization of the educational process.
The participants also discussed students’ adaptation to a new environment and their involvement in the university’s social, cultural and sports activities. During the open dialogue, students had an opportunity to ask questions, share suggestions and receive the necessary clarifications.
The meeting was aimed at strengthening educational ties between the two countries and providing continued support to students from Turkmenistan.
