Today, July 24, 2026, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University is hosting the 12th International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture, Food and Energy – SAFE2026.
The conference is held under the theme “Activating Resilience: Integrating Agriculture, Food, Energy, and Economic Security for a Sustainable Global Network.”
The event brings together researchers, experts, academics, and representatives of international organizations and universities from Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Pakistan, India, Japan, and other countries.
The conference features keynote and thematic sessions addressing food security, clean energy, sustainable marine and agricultural ecosystems, agrobiodiversity, climate adaptation, green technologies, and innovation. The programme also includes the presentation of draft memoranda of understanding, breakout sessions, and the announcement of the winners of the international Product Innovation Competition Awards.
SAFE2026 provides an important platform for exchanging scientific knowledge, strengthening international partnerships, and developing collaborative solutions to global sustainability challenges.
