INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN EDUCATION: LECTURES BY ESTONIAN UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SCIENCES LECTURERS WITHIN THE ERASMUS+ ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme, from March 30 to April 3, 2026, the university was visited by lecturers from the Estonian University of Life Sciences - Anna Pisponen and Indrek Ridaliste.

During the visit, the international experts delivered a series of lectures focused on current issues in the food industry. The lectures attracted strong interest from a wide audience, including undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral candidates, and young researchers of the university.

Diana Rimm, Leading Specialist of the Doctoral Studies Department, organized and conducted a number of working meetings with the Director of the Academic Department, the Head of the Master’s and Doctoral Studies Sector, and staff of the International Office. The meetings addressed the integration of doctoral research with laboratory infrastructure, the development of applied research, and alignment with industry needs. Particular attention was paid to the prospects of attracting international master’s and doctoral students.

As part of the visit programme, the guests toured the Scientific and Educational Innovation Center for Food Technologies and Quality, as well as the Kazakhstan-Japan Innovation Center, where they became acquainted with the university’s modern research infrastructure.
