ANNOUNCEMENT! XVIII REPUBLICAN SUBJECT OLYMPIAD
On April 28–29, 2026, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KAZNARU) will host the Second Stage of the 18th Republican Subject Olympiad among university students of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Olympiad will be held in the following educational program groups:

B077 Crop Production
(Agronomy, Fruit and Vegetable Production, Plant Protection and Quarantine); -
B079 Forestry
(Forest Resources and Forestry, Landscape Design and Greening, Hunting and Game Management); -
B082 Water Resources and Water Use
(Water Resources Management, Land Reclamation, Adjustment and Protection); -
B083 Veterinary Science
(Veterinary Science, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Sanitation); -
B046 Finance, Economics, Banking and Insurance
(Valuation); -
B183 Agroengineering
(Agricultural Machinery and Technology).
Each university may nominate up to three 3rd- and 4th-year students for each educational program. Participants must bring a valid identification document.
The Olympiad will be conducted in two rounds:

testing;
-
solving theoretical and practical (situational and laboratory) tasks.
The list of disciplines included in the Olympiad is provided in Appendix 1 and is also available on the university’s official website: www.kaznaru.edu.kz
Please note: the Olympiad will be conducted only in an individual format. Team participation is not предусмотрено and will not be evaluated.
Working languages of the Olympiad: Kazakh and Russian.
Program:

April 28, 2026 – opening ceremony, Round I and Round II;
-
April 29, 2026 – award ceremony and closing of the Olympiad.
Based on the results of the first (university-level) stage, participants must send the following documents to the organizing committee by April 22, 2026:

a scanned letter signed by the Rector (Vice-Rector) confirming the results of the first stage, or a decision of the Academic Council of the university formalized as a recommendation protocol for participation in the second stage;
