Active Weekend: Students of Vet-24-18A Group Conquered the "Japanese Road"

As part of the university's educational and social work program, Zhassulan Maratuly Otebayev, a curator at the N.U. Bazanova Department of Animal Biology, organized a hiking trip for students of the Vet-24-18A group along the historic "Old Japanese Road" route.

The hike aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen the bond between students. During the trip, students enjoyed the panoramic views of the Trans-Ili Alatau, learned about the history of the trail’s construction, and discussed the importance of environmental conservation. Such activities help future veterinarians develop physical endurance and a responsible attitude toward nature.
