KazNARU HOSTED A ROUND TABLE DEDICATED TO THE 95TH ANNIVERSARY OF MUKAGALI MAKATAYEV
On February 27, 2026, a round table dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh lyrical poet Mukagali Makatayev was held at the Scientific Library of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KAZNARU).
The event was organized jointly by the staff of the Scientific Library and the Department of General Education Disciplines.
The honored guest of the evening was Bayan Ospanova, a lecturer of the department, who shared her reflections on the spiritual value and educational significance of the poet’s works.
Gulaziya Akhantayeva, the responsible lecturer of the department, emphasized the students’ deep respect and sincere interest in Mukagali’s poetry.
First-year students from the faculties of “Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering” and “Water Resources and IT Technologies” took part in the event. Students of various nationalities recited the poet’s verses by heart and performed songs written to his lyrics.
The event was meaningful, engaging, and inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.
