HONORING GREAT PERSONALITIES
On February 18, 2026, the faculty members of the Department of Zooengineering and Biotechnology — Kulataev B.T., Zhumagaliyeva G.M., doctoral student Burkhanova B., together with students of group МШ-24-01, organized an event dedicated to honoring prominent figures of our nation.
The main purpose of the event was to instill patriotism, spiritual and cultural values, respect for history, and preservation of national identity among the younger generation through the promotion of the lives and enduring legacy of historical figures.
Across the world, nations take pride in their historical personalities. Educating younger generations through the examples of the past is a long-standing tradition in our society. The Head of State has emphasized the importance of honoring citizens who have made exceptional contributions to the country and remain in the people's memory.
“A person who distances themselves from their history loses connection with their roots. Therefore, this event holds special significance for the younger generation. Today we recall the exemplary lives and remarkable achievements of great individuals who have left a profound mark on our nation’s history. Their names must always resonate in the memory of every citizen,” noted the Head of the Department, Beibit Kulataev.
In our view, any event should primarily carry educational value. Presenting the unique qualities and noble deeds of historical figures to the public requires innovation and comprehensive creative effort.
During the event, students gained a deeper understanding of important values such as national spirit, morality, family upbringing, and intergenerational continuity — values that inspire youth and strengthen their confidence in the future.
Promoting the legacy of our ancestors is not merely a responsibility of today’s generation, but a sacred duty and a valuable heritage for future generations. Undoubtedly, this also creates significant opportunities to introduce the lives and contributions of our national heroes not only within the country but internationally.
