MENTAL HEALTH WEEK 2026: SELF-MANAGEMENT AS A PATH TO PROFESSIONALISM

As part of the university-wide "Mental Health – 2026" week, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering hosted a specialized seminar titled "Self-management." The event was attended by groups and tutors from Vet-25-11K (Allabergenova Aru), Vet-25-12K (Shytyrbayeva Zamzagul), and Vet-24-10K (Zhylkyshybayeva Meruert). The event focused on essential aspects of personal effectiveness for modern students, including time management, burnout prevention, and the development of accountability.

Key Topics of the Seminar:

  • Effective planning and time-management techniques
  • Strategies for preventing academic and professional burnout
  • Methods for increasing personal productivity
  • Strengthening internal motivation and responsibility

During the masterclass, future veterinary specialists learned practical tools for organizing their daily routines and maintaining internal balance despite heavy academic workloads. These skills are designed to enhance academic efficiency and prepare students for the fast-paced decision-making required in their future clinical practice.

For future veterinarians and animal science experts, self-organization is a vital professional competency. Their career path demands high levels of concentration and the ability to manage resources effectively under pressure.

"Mental Health – 2026" week was organized by the university’s psychological support services to foster a culture of emotional well-being and resilience among the student body.
