Another Sporting Victory for KazNARU Wrestlers

✅ On January 25, 2026, at the Almaty City Championship in Combat and Sport Sambo, the wrestlers of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) delivered an outstanding performance, proudly representing the university.

✅ At the competition, the KazNARU team won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals, ranking among the top contenders in a highly competitive tournament. A total of 165 wrestlers took part in the championship, competing to determine the strongest athletes.

✅ Athletes who secured podium finishes:

• Zhansanat Kabdrakimov (Faculty of Engineering and Technology, ATT-24-01) — 1st place in the 79 kg weight category;

• Ernaz Rakhmetul (Faculty of Forestry and Land Resources, KD-25-23k) — 3rd place in the 53 kg weight category;

• Sultan Tolepbergen (Faculty of Forestry and Land Resources, AK-25-13K) — 3rd place in the 93 kg weight category.
