Winners of the “Densaulyq-2026” Spartakiad Awarded at KazNARU

The Kazakh National Agrarian Research University hosted the official closing ceremony of the “Densaulyq-2026” Spartakiad, which took place from January 5 to 14, 2026, among faculty members and university staff.

The Spartakiad featured competitions in nine sports disciplines. On behalf of the university leadership, participants and winners were congratulated by the First Vice-Chairman of the Board – First Vice-Rector, Pirimkul Ibragimov.

In his address, he emphasized that the future of any country is closely linked to the health of its nation. Regular engagement in sports and adherence to a healthy lifestyle contribute to building an active and responsible society. He highlighted the special role of teachers who, through personal example and commitment to sports, instill important values in students.

Pirimkul Sholpankulovich noted that the university leadership places great importance on the development of physical culture and sports, creating all the necessary conditions for this purpose. University staff and students have access to a modern sports complex, a fully equipped gym, a summer football field, a mini-football pitch, and the Central Stadium, which is open to everyone. He also stressed that the interfaculty Spartakiad “Densaulyq-2026” is one of the key initiatives aimed at promoting mass sports, and presented the winners with certificates of appreciation, diplomas, and commemorative prizes.

Participants shared their impressions of the Spartakiad with the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Meruert Tuyakbaeva, noting the importance of holding such sporting events on a regular basis. Many mentioned that the competitions reminded them of childhood sports events and left vivid, positive emotions.

Seven teams took part in the Spartakiad: the faculties of Forestry and Land Resources, Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering, Engineering Technologies, Water Resources and IT Technologies, Agrobiology, the Military Department, as well as the administrative team.

According to the overall team standings, first place was awarded to the Administrative Team, second place to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering, and third place to the Faculty of Water Resources and IT Technologies.

All participants demonstrated high activity, unity, and a strong team spirit. Within the framework of the “Densaulyq-2026” Spartakiad, special creative nominations were also awarded:

• “Super Athlete Dean” — Meiram Buranovich Arystanov;

• “Dean – Sports Leader” — Lazzat Turgynbaykyzy Aldybayeva;

• “Sprint Organizer” — Ashirali Zhusupuly Smanov.
