Traditional Agricultural Fair Held at KazNARU on the Eve of the New Year

On December 29, 2025, on the eve of the New Year celebrations, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) hosted a traditional agricultural products fair for university staff.

This socially significant event brought together the university’s training and experimental farms as well as partner enterprises, which offered a wide range of agricultural products to visitors at affordable prices, significantly lower than market rates.

In the midst of the busy pace of city life, preparing for the holiday season is not always easy. In this regard, the fair held on the university campus became a convenient and timely opportunity for staff members to purchase essential food products for the festive table. Visitors actively participated in shopping and expressed great satisfaction with the favorable prices and high quality of the products.

The fair featured a wide selection of natural and fresh products. These included Aport apples delivered directly from orchards, oranges, mandarins, and pineapples; beef and horse meat supplied by an entrepreneur from the village of Zhanashar in the Enbekshikazakh District; various types of fish; as well as halal sausage products under the “Sofiya” brand. In addition, natural butter, cottage cheese, sour cream, zhent, cheese, kurt, and other traditional national food products were available for sale.

The opportunity to purchase environmentally friendly products in one location brought particular satisfaction to university staff. Many participants highly appreciated this initiative, noting that the quality and freshness of the products were significantly superior to those found in city retail stores. The university administration also received sincere words of gratitude for organizing such fairs on a regular basis.
