«Our Hearts Beat for Independence!» - A solemn event dedicated to December 16 – the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan
A solemn event dedicated to December 16 – the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan – was held at Dormitory №5 of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineery at KazNARU.
This festive evening, organized in honour of the great date, instilled a feeling of boundless love and pride for the Motherland in the hearts of the students.
The celebration began with the majestic performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, uniting all participants with a single spirit.
To recall the sacred and challenging stages of our country's path to Independence, a historical video presentation was shown. Additionally, the sacred heritage of the Kazakh people – the dombyra music – enhanced the evening, with its powerful melodies stirring the heart.
The intellectual game "Bilimdi Urpaq", focusing on the history of Independence and state symbols, generated particular interest. Students showcased their knowledge, quick wit, and speed, and the winners were awarded prizes.
The climax of the evening was a short performance titled "Zheltoqsan Zhalyny" ("The Flame of December"), dedicated to the heroism of the December Events. Following the performance, students holding candles sang the song "Zheltoqsan Zheli" in chorus, concluding the evening on a deeply emotional note.
Professor Gulmira Kumiskalievna: «May our unity be strong, and our spirit high! May pride and love for the Motherland live forever in your hearts!»
Independence is our eternal value. This evening not only strengthened the patriotic feelings of the students but also inspired them with confidence in a bright future.
