Histo Quiz: Intellectual Game on Histology

Veterinary faculty students held a dynamic Histo Quiz intellectual game for the “Histology with Embryology Basics” course with organized by department Animal Biology named after N.U. Bazanova. The event took place in Auditorium 118, Building 10, involving 6–7 teams of 5–6 students competing over 5 rounds in 50–60 minutes. It deepened knowledge of tissue and organ histology while enhancing quick thinking, memory, and teamwork skills.

Teams tackled blitz questions (epithelium functions, hematoxylin staining), micrograph identification (cartilage, muscle, neurons), tissue-function-location matching, microimage puzzles, and pantomime (wordlessly acting out erythrocyte, macrophage).

Winning groups:

• 1st place: 25-03 group (Macrophages)
• 2nd place: 25-01 group (Histologia Astra)
• 3rd place: 25-12 group (Chondrocyte)

Winners received memorable prizes.
