Cultural Event of Turkmen Students Held at KazNARU
At the Department of “Animal Science and Biotechnology” of the Faculty of “Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science” at KazNARU, first-year Turkmen students of the 6B05102 – “Biotechnology” educational program organized a cultural event titled “Tübi bir, türkі tildes Türkmenim” (“My Turkmen People with Common Turkic Roots”).
The main goal of the event was to strengthen friendship, cultural ties, and promote shared historical roots among Turkic nations.
During the event, students delivered engaging presentations on Turkmen traditions and customs, national costumes, traditional cuisine, as well as notable historical figures. They also prepared an exhibition where guests could taste traditional Turkmen dishes and view handcrafted items.
The event was supervised by Erlyk Baimazhiyuly, senior lecturer of the Department of Animal Science and Biotechnology.
PhD Spatay Nuradil Nurbekuly, Deputy Dean for Academic and Educational Work of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, and Professor Beibit Turganbekuly Kulatayev, Head of the Department, highlighted that such initiatives contribute significantly to the spiritual development of students and foster cooperation and a sense of unity.
