Nauryz Celebration in the Spirit of National Traditions

As part of the Nauryz celebrations, the “General Education Disciplines” Department hosted an event in their themed yurt, named “Alash.” The event showcased Kazakh traditions, including a richly prepared dastarkhan and the symbolic “Tusau Kesu” ceremony. Participants wore national attire, bringing authenticity and vibrant spirit to the celebration.

At the end of the event, the department received a letter of gratitude from the rector along with a memorable gift — a chess set. This recognition reflects the team’s unity and enthusiastic involvement.

Additionally, department lecturer Zäure Salkeevna Aktamberdieva won the “Best National Costume” award, honoring her contribution to celebrating and preserving national heritage.
