Kaiyrbek Zheksenalyuly Umbetzhanov is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacology and Animal Pathology, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
He was born on March 3, 1991, in Zhambyl village, Zhambyl District, Almaty Region, Republic of Kazakhstan. He obtained his degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Kazakh National Agrarian University in 2014, qualifying as a Veterinary Surgeon. He subsequently completed his Master of Veterinary Science degree at the same institution in 2016.
His academic and professional appointments include:
- 2016–2020: Assistant Lecturer, Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine
- 2020–2021: Senior Lecturer, Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine
- Since 2022: Senior Lecturer, Department of Pharmacology and Animal Pathology, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University
His academic interests include veterinary pharmacology, animal pathology, and clinical veterinary medicine. In 2024, he completed an international research internship at the Lithuanian
University of Health Sciences (Large Animal Clinic, Kaunas, Lithuania) under the “500 Scientists” program.
