Kunzshigarova Lyazzat Shaukarbaikyzy, 43 years old, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting, Audit and Finance.
In 2003, she graduated with honors (with a red diploma) from the Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications named after M. Tynyshpayev with a degree in Finance (Economist-Financier). She began her professional career in 2006 at the same institution, where she was appointed as an assistant.
While continuing her scientific and pedagogical activities, in 2006 the topic of her candidate dissertation was approved: “Economic Efficiency of Telecommunication Services.” Within this research area, she has published a number of scientific articles devoted to the issues of economic efficiency in the telecommunications sector.
In 2010, she defended her кандидатская диссертация (PhD equivalent) for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences in the specialty 08.00.05 – “Economics and Management of National Economy” (transport and communication complex). The dissertation was successfully defended at the Dissertation Council D 14.50.05 at the Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications named after M. Tynyshpayev.
In the course of her scientific and teaching activities, she is the author of several textbooks and учебные пособия (teaching manuals), including: “Management Accounting,” “Fundamentals of Accounting,” “Fundamentals of Accounting” (in Russian), “Accounting in the Transport Sector,” and “Business Planning.”
In addition, she has published 9 scientific articles in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
For the disciplines she teaches (Statistics, Social Statistics, Transport Statistics, Corporate Finance, Business Planning, Fundamentals of Audit, Financial Analysis and Audit, Taxation, etc.), she has developed educational and methodological complexes and guidelines for practical classes, which have been implemented in the educational process.
In 2024, her monograph “Substantiation of Modern Migration Processes” was published.
Her research interests include finance, accounting, auditing, the economics of the telecommunications industry, as well as issues related to the analysis of socio-economic processes.
Within the framework of educational work, she actively works with students as a curator, providing mentoring and advisory support aimed at their professional and personal development.
