Relevance
In 2024, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University won a state grant for the commercialization of the scientific development "Threshing Activator". The agricultural machinery market faces many challenges, but the growing number of manufacturers and the need for innovative solutions open up new opportunities for development and adaptation. The startup of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University has created families of innovative developments supported by hundreds of inventions and awarded with Gold Orders "FOR LABOR AND VALOR - the Eurasian Union of States", the International Academy of Informatization, many Gold medals at the competitions of inventions and new technologies "NOVOYE VREMYA", the K.I. Satpayev State Prize, etc.; important recognition and recommendation the international specialized organizing committee for small and medium-sized businesses, which determines the relevance and level of demand for the created innovations at the global level. One of them is MRB (Threshing Activator), the introduction of a whole family of threshing activators of various types and purposes in the conditions of the agricultural sector of the republic, suggests Kazakhstan to become the main supplier of a number of agricultural machinery units at the international level. World practice clearly shows that developed countries, violating agreements and official rules of international organizations, lobby their manufacturers. The growth of real innovation production should be widespread in all regions. This is the only way our country can become economically strong and self-sufficient. To define Kazakhstan as a supplier of innovative technologies and technical means, in accordance with the created inventions, as a single international supplier of Threshing Activator for seed and grain production. At the same time, foreign countries are waiting for us: the USA, Germany, France, Italy, China, etc.
Objective of the project
Organization of small-scale production of an innovative new generation biomass distributor module, which provides an increase in productivity up to 15% and a reduction in losses of the productive part of the crop yield up to 20%
Expected and achieved results
• Rapid prototyping solves problems: Rapid replacement of existing MRBS; Saving time and money; Technology testing; Conducting MRB tests; Preparation for the production of MRB; Improving the design of MRB.
• 3D scanning allows us to create accurate digital counterparts of the MRB.
• Small-scale production of MRB using additive technology methods.
• Prepare a full-fledged plastic casting site: degassing chamber, pump, silicone and liquid plastic, etc.
• Production facilities are being prepared; Supplies, components and equipment are being purchased.
It is expected to sell products – MRB and upgraded MRB; services for the modernization of existing inclined chambers of harvesting machines; sale of technology to existing domestic and foreign combine harvesters. Previously, more than 100 patents for inventions were obtained, many Gold medals and diplomas at international and domestic competitions, and more than 140 scientific publications were published. The prototypes have passed extensive production tests with positive results. Scientists headed by Academician Sadykov J.S. for the first time established the dependence of quantitative and qualitative grain losses during harvesting on the value of the coefficient of leveling of plant biomass before threshing. Advantages of using innovative MRB:
- simplicity of design and versatility (cereals, oilseeds and forage crops); low costs due to modeling of the biomass distributor module and subsequent 3D printing;
- improvement of the work of harvesting equipment;
- new or improved features;
- further performance improvement.

- can be used for various agro-climatic zones and fields of different yields;
- compatible with any combine harvester with a capacity from 3 to 15 kg/s and harvesters with a working width of up to 8 meters and above;
- due to its use, it is possible to reduce the biomass layer in the drum, increase throughput and reduce energy consumption of the combine, and others.
Information for potential users
Low price; increases productivity when threshing grain by 10-15%; reduces losses up to 10-20%; reduces macro and microtraumation of seeds by 2-3 times, and thereby increases seed germination and an additional increase in yield of 1-3 kg/ha. For the first time in the world: patented technologies ensure the least loss of the productive part of the grown crop and are profitable from any side! It is innovative, export-oriented and import-substituting. They allow you to achieve the following advantages:
- convenience for operation, which allows you to quickly introduce new innovative developments into the production sector;
- reduce grain injury and reduce quantitative and qualitative losses;
- to increase the productivity of grain harvesting, threshing quality due to the effective supply of a thin layer of grain mass;
- ensure the changeability of active elements, improve and accelerate the repair of equipment, providing less time-consuming repair work, and provide technical staff with a set of modules;
- reduce metal consumption and improve equipment reliability;
- the modeling process with printing out a set of device modules packaged in a case for its production and sale will also be used for training in educational institutions, as innovations in production, the development of soft skills - "soft skills" of the interactive learning process, to strengthen the relationship between science, engineering education and business;
- increasing the volume of production of competitive products;
- updating of agricultural machinery will become much more accessible to villagers;
- adaptation to the classic, hybrid and axial-rotor threshing system;
- the use of an activator to accelerate the flow of bread mass before threshing makes it universal for any specific formats and working conditions;
- the use of different standard sizes allows you to take into account the interests of farms that differ from each other in size, field yield and production volumes; - use for harvesting different crops;
- expands the capabilities of the harvester, increases its total annual load and reduces payback time;
- small-scale production makes it possible to upgrade outdated and uneconomical inclined chambers in the economic entities of the republic in a short time and at the lowest cost; At the same time, we will also cover all new sales markets in the CIS and beyond;
- to reduce the danger of technological dependence of the domestic industry on foreign developments.
