Relevance
In the course of the project realization the influence of the developed probiotic preparation on oxidative and immune stress in pre-weaning calves, peculiarities of the level of metabolic process of the organism, microbiological status of calves during rearing, indicators of growth, development and productivity depending on the used dose and tested probiotic preparation with several probiotic strains will be revealed.

Project goal
To develop a domestic probiotic preparation based on the associated strain of lactic acid bacteria to increase the immune system in young farm animals.

Expected and achieved results
The results of this work are that for the first time probiotic strains of lactic acid bacteria were identified: 7K-2L, 7K-6L1, 5K-9L1, 7K-16L1, 17K-6L12. Their uniqueness lies in their antagonistic activity against opportunistic and pathogenic bacteria. Also according to the results it was found that most of the studied strains 4K-28L, 7K-2L, 7K-6L1, 7SH-41L, 8K-52L, 5K-9L1, 12K-78L, 15K-91L, 17K-6L12 had high adhesive activity at the level of 64%. Thus the above-mentioned strains of lactic acid bacteria were included in the Genetic Sequence Database (GenBank) of the National Institute of Health (USA).
