Improving and updating potato seed quality control

september 12, 2024. A webinar was held online (without visiting the Customer’s location) on the topic: «Improving and updating quality control of seed potatoes» (Seed production).

The webinar expert was Suleimenova Saule Ertaevna.
1-lecture - «Mainstreaming of the diversification problem  of Kazakhstan fruit growing».
The lecture topic of the reveals the following questions:
1. The feasibility of using a seed production system for promising potato varieties on a virus-free basis;
2. The need to optimize appropriate regulatory indicators and maximum levels for limiting the most dangerous phytopathogens and pests for potatoes;
3.  Introduction of new certification methods, taking into account the evolution of harmful organisms and the changing phytosanitary situation in connection with the ongoing local and global processes of climate change.
 
As a result of the webinar, the lechere's topics were discussed.
