Guest lecture at the faculty of "Veterinary and Zooengineering"

On November 25, 2024, a guest lecture was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering for 4th-year students as part of the course "Epizootiology and Anti-Epizootic Measures." The lecture was delivered by Dr. Gulzhan Kalenovna Musayeva, PhD, Chief Specialist of the Almaty Branch of the National Veterinary Reference Center (NVRC).

The lecture covered topics such as the quarantine of animals during outbreaks of particularly dangerous infections, eradication measures, and preventive activities organized by veterinary services.

Dr. Gulzhan Kalenovna emphasized the importance of adhering to approved veterinary protocols for quarantining animals with highly dangerous infections, which play a critical role in combating diseases affecting both animals and humans. The lecture sparked interest among the students and contributed to deepening their knowledge and skills in the field of epizootiology.
