Guest Lecture at the Faculty of "Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering"

On November 18, 2024, a guest lecture was held at the Faculty of "Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering" for fourth-year students of the Veterinary Sanitation program as part of the course "Epizootiology and Anti-Epizootic Measures." The lecture was delivered by Dr. Gulzhan Kalenovna Musaeva, PhD, Chief Specialist of the Almaty Branch of the National Reference Center for Veterinary (NRCV).

The lecture covered key topics, including the identification and confirmation of causes of animal illnesses or deaths, particularly in cases of suspected infections, invasions, or poisoning, as well as the rules for collecting, transporting, and handling materials for laboratory research.

Dr. Gulzhan Kalenovna emphasized the importance of adhering to animal disease control guidelines and strictly following the procedures for sampling and transporting specimens. The lecture sparked interest among students and contributed to enhancing their knowledge and skills in epizootiology.
