11/14/2024 At the Higher School of Business and Law of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, under the leadership of the head of the Department of Accounting, Audit and Finance Nesipbekov E.N. and the teaching staff represented by Tattimbetova Zh.K., Baimoldayeva M.T., Naimanova Zh.T. and students of the 4th year of the OP "Finance", a round table was organized and held a table on the topic: "The history of the appearance of the tenge: realities and prospects", dedicated to the National Currency Day.

The purpose of this event is to discuss the history of the introduction of the national currency-tenge, consolidate students' knowledge in the field of formation and development of the monetary and banking system of Kazakhstan, expand economic horizons.

Leading experts from the financial and banking sector were invited to the round table:

1. Chief Expert of the Department of Consumer Protection of Financial Services of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ARRFR) - Gadilbek Akim.

2. Advisor to the Banking Ombudsman of the private institution "Office of the Banking Ombudsman", – Ruslan Ibragimov.

3. Risk analyst of JSC "Bank Center Credit" Bolukbash Saule Orazovna.

   During the round table, a video about the history of the introduction of tenge was shown, Gadilbek Akim's reports on the topic were heard: "Improving financial literacy of the population", Ibrahimov R.F. on the topic "Institute of the Banking Ombudsman in Kazakhstan", Bolukbash S.O. on the topic: "Risk management in the practice of banks".

   Among the students of the 2nd and 3rd courses, intellectual games – contests "Blitz Survey", "Mosaic", "Kaleidoscope", "Scrabble", "Journey around the world" were held.   

This event contributed to improving financial literacy, deepening knowledge and developing professional potential.
