KazNARU WILL PREPARE EXPERTS ACCORDING TO MARKET DEMAND IN COLLABORATION WITH CHINESE SHIKHEZI UNIVERSITY

Today, on November 13, 2024 Kazakh National Agrarian Research University hosted the representatives of Shihezi University of the Republic of China. Pirimkul Sholpankululy, the member of the Board of the University, the Chairman of the Board and First Deputy Rector of the Board held discussions with the guests.

Representatives of Shihetsu University came from the post-high school deputy director Wang Jung. The parties exchanged information on the possibilities and educational programs of the school and discussed plans for future cooperation, qualified, market demand specialist training.

Today, Shihetsi University is considered to be KazNARU's most important cooperation partner in the Republic of China. At present, 161 PhD students, 215 graduate students, 5753 students, 130 study in educational programs at our university. Students studying in the field of "Veterinary" have 300 credits, and the rest of the educational programs consist of 240 credits. Master's degree educational programs consist of 120 credits, PhD studies consist of 180 credits. Our University has established cooperation with more than 170 leading universities and scientific research centers around the world. The higher education institutions of the Republic of China are the most important partner countries. We are all aware that our university has more than 40 partner institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan," said Pirimkul Sholpankululy.

The Kazakh National Agrarian Research University is ranked 301-350 in the world QS rating, and is among the top 350 universities in the field of "Agriculture and Forest Resources". In addition, QS is a leading research university in the republic, ranked 6th among Central Asian universities and 5th in Kazakhstan.

Shihetsi University is located in Shihetsu City, Xinjan-Uigur Autonomous District of China. This is a national main university co-built by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the Xinzhan Construction and Construction Corporation. Established in 1949, about 33,000 students are educated today. The number of teachers and staff is nearly 3000.
