"From Scalpel to Canvas: Veterinary Students Discover the World of Art"

Who would have thought that future veterinarians would be so fascinated by painting? Recently, 24-18А first-year students of the veterinary faculty embarked on an unforgettable excursion to the State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Abylkhan Kasteev.

This museum is a true treasure trove of Kazakh and world art. It houses unique works of painting, sculpture, and decorative and applied art. A special place in the exhibition is occupied by the work of Abylkhan Kasteev, an outstanding Kazakh artist whose name the museum bears. His paintings are a vivid reflection of the life of the Kazakh people, their traditions, and culture. Kasteev masterfully conveyed the beauty of nature, portraits of contemporaries, and captured historical events.

The students were amazed by the diversity and beauty of the works presented. They eagerly examined the canvases, discussed the techniques of execution, and shared their impressions. Many admitted that visiting the museum helped them broaden their horizons and discover new facets of art.

"I always thought that art wasn't for me," shared one of the students. "But after this excursion, I realized that painting can be very interesting and even inspiring."

Another student noted that Kasteev's paintings helped her better understand the history and culture of Kazakhstan. "I feel proud of our country, seeing such talented artists," she said.

Visiting an art museum is not only a pleasant pastime but also an important component of the educational process. Art develops aesthetic perception, forms a sense of beauty, and enriches a person's inner world.

We are confident that this excursion left a bright mark on the students' hearts and inspired them to new discoveries.
