In the period from January 29 to February 02, 2024, Professor of the Department of "Water Resources and Melioration" Kalybekova Yesenkul Myrzageldievna conducted career guidance work in schools in Talas district, Zhambyl region.
She began her work with a meeting with Akim of the Talas district Zhunisbekov Nurbol Abdimazhitovich and his deputy, who oversees education, including Abdibekova Aitalyn Serikova. Both heads of the district supported the idea of working together with graduates of schools in the region and assisted in organizing meetings with the principals of schools in Karatau (district center), as well as with their students graduating from school in 2024.
In general, there are 35 schools in the district, including 26 for 11th graders, with 428 graduating students.
According to a cursory survey, it was found that about 20% of those present at the alumni meeting expressed a desire to receive specialties from the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
