THE SCOPE OF COOPERATION BETWEEN SCIENTISTS OF KAZAKHSTAN AND CHINA IS EXPANDING

Today, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Board- Rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University Akhylbek Kurishbayev met Director General of Xinjiang Institute Ecology and Geography Zhang Yuanming.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to coordinate mutual activities in the field of science and education on water management and ecology for agriculture of neighboring countries located on the Great Silk Road, support new initiatives, and systematically conduct joint projects of scientists.

Zhang Yuanming invited Akhylbek Kurishbayev to come to China on a scientific mission in order to confirm the important issues discussed bilaterally with the participation of the heads of the Chinese Academy of Science.

Deputy Director General of Xinjiang Institute Ecology and Geography Jilili Abuduwaili, Director of International Relations Department of this institute Qiao Jianfang, Deputy Head International Cooperation Division, Department of Science and Technology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Xiao Yi, Consul of the Chinese Consulate in Almaty Zhang Wei, heads of structures of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vice-Rectors and scientists of KazNARU participated the meeting.
