THE HEAD OF THE STATE MEET PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES AKHYLBEK KURISHBAYEV

✅ DURING THE MEETING, ISSUES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE WERE DISCUSSED

As the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized, the National Academy of Sciences, which received a new status last year, must unite the efforts of domestic scientists and pay special attention to the introduction of innovations that will bring real benefits to science and the economy. He called for speeding up the process of electing new members of the National Academy of Sciences and more widely involve talented young scientists and new specialists into the Academy.

✅  Akhylbek Kurishbayev presented to the President the scientific research conducted by the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University,  also projects aimed at improving the agro-industrial sector.

According to the Head of the State, granting the institution the status of a research university will make it possible to introduce scientific developments into real production and commercialize the results of scientific research.

At the end of the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to update the strategy and work plan of the National Academy of Sciences, taking into account new tasks. He also noted the importance of organizing high-level events dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Kanysh Satpayev, the founder of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan.
