HEAD OF KAZNARU AKHYLBEK KURISHBAEV – PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

By order of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Academician, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhilbek Kazhigulovich Kurishbaev was appointed as the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Akylbek Kazhigulovich is an outstanding scientist, who is widely known to the international scientific community. His contribution to the development of the country's agricultural science is especially remarkable. For his contribution to the development of the economy, science and higher education, as well as for active public and government activities, he was awarded the highest state awards - “Kurmet” and “Parasat” orders.

Wherever he works, he always fulfills the duties assigned to him with honor, and actively defends the interests of national science and education. We are glad that under his leadership, big positive changes have been taking place at KazNARU.
