The international project "IMPROvE_AGRO

Within the framework of the international project ERASMUS+ No 609563-EPP-1-2019-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP «Internationalizing Master Programmes in Agriculture via English Medium Instruction - IMPROvE_AGRO» in the field of forestry, senior lecturer of the Department of Forest Resources, Game management and Fisheries Ainur D. Utebekova and 1st year doctoral students (currently) Gulshat Satybaldieva and Moldir Kulshigashova participated in international workshops at Tyumen State University (Russia), Freiburg Pedagogical University (Germany), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), National University of Mongolia (Mongolia), Aston University (UK), Toraighyrov university.

The main approach adopted in the project is the modernization and development of key modules within educational disciplines in the areas of training specialists for agriculture and forestry, which is a common regional priority for all non-European partners. The project thus aims to strengthen regional cooperation between Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Russia, as well as to create new prospects for international cooperation between these countries and the EU, which in turn contributes to the overall reform of national higher education systems.

The purpose of project: to contribute to the modernization and internationalization of the societies of Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Russia by expanding their capabilities to internationalize master's programs by bringing them to EU quality standards, introducing English as a language of instruction (English Medium Instruction -EMI), as well as introducing the format blended learning; promote the mobility of students and teachers between Asian and European universities training specialists for agriculture and forestry; increase accessibility to higher education, especially for the most vulnerable groups; promote the development of joint degrees (double/multiple degrees).
