A NEW STAGE OF COOPERATION BETWEEN KAZNARU AND LANZHOU UNIVERSITY OF CHINA

On December 25, 2023, First Deputy Chairman of the Board- Rector of Kazakh National Agrarian Research University Pirimkul Ibragimov met with a delegation led by Vice President of Lanzhou University, Professor GOU Xiaohua.

At the meeting participated Li Chunlin, Dean of the School of International Education of Lanzhou University, Professor Deng Xiaoyan, Director of the University's Confucius Institute, Zhang Wei, Consul of the People's Republic of China in Almaty, Duman Imanmadi, Head of the Kazakh-Chinese Center at KazUNARU, vice-rectors and deans.

Vice President of Lanzhou University, Professor GOU Xiaohua highlighted the achievements of Lanzhou University, which is one of the best universities under the Ministry of Education of the PRC and is part of the Double First Class in the fields of agricultural sciences, engineering, ecology, botany and zoology.

Then specialists-scientists discussed about cooperation between the two universities on the joint educational programs, exchange of students and joint training of personnel, and the provision of academic mobility of students and professors, etc.
