"Ardagerlerdi ardaqtaiyq" (Honor the Veterans)

In celebration of the International Day of Older Persons, traditionally observed on October 1st, students and faculty members from the Academician N.U. Bazanova Department of Animal Biology at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) visited the "Pochetny Vozrast" (Honorable Age) Center for Special Social Services. This charity visit was organized under the profound and revered motto "Ardagerlerdi ardaqtaiyq" (Honor the Veterans), symbolizing deep respect and gratitude for the older generation.

The primary goal of the event was not only to congratulate the residents of the center but also to actively foster fundamental human values among the student youth, such as mercy, compassion, responsiveness, and genuine respect for the elderly. For future specialists in the agricultural sector, this field trip served as a tangible and vital lesson in civic responsibility, empathy, and the continuity of generations.

Instead of a conventional official program, the meeting took place in an exceptionally warm, home-like atmosphere of heartfelt personal conversation.
